So I decided to so something simple and elegant and went with a black and pink lingerie theme, she loved it and we all had a fabulous time!

Winter Blues

So before Christmas I was dealing with the “winter blues,” you know that time of the year when it’s dreary and cold and your skin is cracking, and no matter how many times you put lotion on you still feel oh so dry!?

I decided to change all that, after talking to my lovely Tata (aka grandma) because she has the most amazing baby soft skin (I unfortunately did not get blessed with those genes!) we came up with a solution...HOME-MADE ORGANIC SUGAR SCRUBS!

I made a coffee scrub (smells delicious and good for cellulite), pumpkin spice scrub, gingerbread, and a lemon sugar scrub....made for great Christmas presents!

Keepsake and Holiday Lovin'

So a few days ago Vicky and I got together for just another Crafty Tuesday, we both tasked ourselves to come up with a few cute ideas, I am a big fan of holidays and the next big one is Easter so I thought why not come up with a pretty Easter Table Arrangement...here is what I came up with...I love the idea of throwing pink and yellow together, reminds me of when my mom used to take us to see the Easter Bunny as kids. {love childhood memories}

Vicky just got married and has a pile of beautiful wedding cards so her very creative idea was to make a wedding card keepsake album, turned out beautiful! Why hide your well wishes in a box or under your bed? Right?!

She picked just the right colors to go with her wedding and can do the same for you lovely newlyweds! I mean what a great gift idea to give to a new bride? It’s pretty special and very personal, those really are the best gifts!

New Year...New Things

Happy 2012!

I have been talking about blogging for some time now and figured why not start in 2012! 12 is my number and I am hoping it brings many new and exciting changes...so here goes! I sat on this for a while, thinking hmm do I blog about myself? But then I thought eh I am not that interesting ;) So why not blog about what I am passionate about...
I am starting this blog because my BFF for life, Vicky, and I have started our own business! (along side sisters for life Eleni and Salam)  I know, it’s super exciting and scary at the same time...we are founders of Detalle Love

{we create, we plan, we produce extraordinary events} {we pay attention to all the things you miss, from the type of food, to the party favors, the table settings down to the paper napkins} {we live for the details and that is why we are detalle love}

We share a passion for event planning, crafting, baking, creating new and fabulous things! We like to use our hands, minds and most importantly hearts when crafting. Vicky recently just got married and planned such a beautiful wedding and created all of her favors, invites, table arrangements, etc. (pictures to come)

And now it’s Eleni’s turn to walk down the aisle, not only does that mean a lifetime of happiness for Eleni but it also means lots of planning and crafting is in session!

So this blog is going to be a beauty of crafts/arrangements/knick-knacks and all the love we put into them.
